CAPTAIN GEORGE DOM, USN(Ret)
During my 26-year Navy career, I flew strike-fighters as a carrier air wing strike leader, TOPGUN instructor, F/A-18 squadron commander, commanding officer/flight leader of the Blue Angels, and air wing commander aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and USS John F. Kennedy. Unlike civilian organizations, the military has no lateral entry—we must grow our own leaders who must succeed in intense, unforgiving situations.
After transitioning to the business world, people often asked how naval aviation excelled in planning, organizing, and training. The answer was clear: success in every squadron and aircraft carrier where I served—whether at TOPGUN, in combat, or with the Blue Angels—came down to unforgettable leaders at every level. These were seniors, peers, and juniors who inspired me through personal example, trustworthiness, expertise, and resilience.
For over 20 years, I’ve spoken about leadership to organizations across the U.S., spanning public and private sectors, for-profit and nonprofit. My proven insights resonated with fast-paced sales teams, senior tech leaders, blue-collar plant managers, law enforcement, insurance firms, sports teams, and beyond.
The leadership and teamwork principles that enabled me to excel in the air as a flight leader and commanding officer apply just as powerfully on the ground—in businesses, families, and communities. Building unforgettable leaders in high-performance teams is where the magic happens.
HERE'S WHAT LEADERS ARE SAYING

LEADERS ARE BUILT NOT BORN.
Leadership requires vision, trust, and positive energy under pressure. While civilian businesses can hire from outside, the military must grow its leaders. As a combat F/A-18 pilot, Topgun instructor, and Blue Angels flight leader, I commanded high-performance teams with life-and-death consequences. As a civilian, I build leaders who excel in any arena. My experience proves that leadership can be taught; I equip clients to lead with confidence, clarity, and impact.
